The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner validates foundational, high-level understanding of AWS Cloud, services, and terminology. This is a good starting point on the AWS Certification journey for individuals with no prior IT or cloud experience switching to a cloud career or for employees looking for foundational cloud literacy. We offer this as a 1 day virtual classroom delivered by our expert AWS certified trainers, which includes access to lab environments, mock and certification exam licences and will prepare you to pass the exam.

Who should take the exam

This exam is designed for candidates new to Cloud who may not have an IT background. This exam is for roles like sales, marketing, product or project management, to get a foundational understanding of AWS Cloud. Candidates for this exam could have up to 6 months of exposure to AWS Cloud, but this is not required.

Will it help my career

Earning this certification validates high-level understanding of AWS Cloud, services, and terminology. Job listings requiring AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner have increased 84% (Oct 2021 - Sept 2022) per Lightcast™ October 2022.

Exam & Certification validity

The exam is 90 minutes and you will answer 65 multiple choice/ multiple response questions. This certification is valid for 3 years.

Labs

We believe in giving you opportunities to apply what you have been learning and create safe environments for you in the form of Labs. The labs for your AWS course will be delivered through AWS Builder labs.

Pre requisites

There are no pre requisites to attend. Please be aware that in order to access your materials and Labs it is important that your device and network should not restrict access to AWS or Vitalsource content. For that reason, AWS recommend NOT using a Corporate laptop with any security restrictions in place or the use of a VPN.
