Who should take the exam

This certification is for individuals with at least a year of experience in machine learning engineering or related roles, and a year of hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Amazon SageMaker, to validate their skills in building, operationalizing, deploying, and maintaining ML solutions on AWS. Roles include backend software developers, DevOps engineers, data engineers, MLOps engineers, and data scientists.

Exam & Certification validity

The exam is 130 minutes and you will answer 65 multiple choice/ multiple response questions. This certification is valid for 3 years. You will be able to sit the exam in your own time after the virtual classroom training and the exam fee is included in the course.

Labs

We believe in giving you opportunities to apply what you have been learning and create safe environments for you in the form of Labs. The labs for your AWS course will be delivered through AWS Builder labs. Please be aware that in order to access your materials and Labs it is important that your device and network should not restrict access to AWS or Vitalsource content. For that reason, AWS recommend NOT using a Corporate laptop with any security restrictions in place or the use of a VPN.

Pre requisites

The ideal candidate for this exam has at least 1 year of experience in machine learning engineering or a related field and 1 year of hands-on experience with AWS services. Professionals who do not have prior machine learning experience can take the training available in the Exam Prep Plans and get started building their knowledge and skills.
